#14 and #15 on the homework due 12/19

14.
2 H3PO4 + 3 Ca(OH)2   à  Ca3(PO4)2 + 6 H2O
0.75 L x (6 mol/L) = 4.5 mol H3PO4
4.5 mol H3PO4 ∙ (6 mol H2O/2 mol H3PO4) ∙ (18.0128 g H2O/ 1 mol H2O) = 243 g water
4.5 mol H3PO4 ∙ (1 mol Ca3(PO4)2/2 mol H3PO4) ∙ (310 g Ca3(PO4)2/1 mol Ca3(PO4)2) = 698 g calcium phosphate

15.
3 H2SO4 + 2 Al(OH)3 à  Al2(SO4)3 + 6 H2O
0.250 L ∙ (2.5 mol Al(OH)3 / 1 L) = 0.625 mol Al(OH)3
0.625 mol Al(OH)3 ∙ (3 mol H2SO4/2 mol Al(OH)3) = 0.9375 mol H2SO4
18.0 = 0.9375/x

X = 0.0521 L = 52.1 mL H2SO4
