Last Weekly Assignment! (due Thursday)

Before you start the homework I will remind you that the prefix "kilo-" means 1000, resulting in the conversions:         1 kJ = 1000 J
                      and  1 kcal = 1000 cal

A kilocalorie is the type of calorie that we are used to when we look at nutritional information, and because it is so common scientists have decided to denote it with a "capital" c as follows:   Cal
So any time you see Cal or Calorie, think kcal !!!

Do the following problems from the worksheets handed out in class:
#35,37,38,40,41,46,47,52,54,71,72

(Without some searching on your own, problems 37, 38, and 71 will not be possible for you to do until after Wednesday's lecture.)
